NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector with GWO Safety & Sea Survival Certification

Job Title: NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector with GWO Safety & Sea Survival Certification



Job Location: Offshore Rhode Island


Job Summary:

We  are seeking a highly skilled NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector with a GWO  Safety & Sea Survival Certification to work on offshore wind farm  operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting  coating applications on offshore wind turbines and other offshore  structures to ensure they meet the required quality standards and comply  with industry regulations. In addition, the candidate must have a valid GWO Safety & Sea Survival Certification to work in offshore wind  farm environments.


Key Responsibilities:

Conduct visual  and non-destructive testing (NDT) of coating applications on offshore  wind turbines and other offshore structures to ensure they meet quality  standards and comply with industry regulations.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of coating inspections.
Monitor and document environmental conditions during coating applications, including humidity, temperature, and dew point.
Work  closely with the offshore wind farm operations team to ensure that all  coating applications are completed safely and efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices for coating applications in offshore environments.
Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.



Requirements:

  • NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector certification.
  • Valid GWO Safety & Sea Survival Certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in coating inspection, preferably in an offshore environment.
  • Knowledge of coating materials, application methods, and industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and document defects.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
  • Flexibility to work in remote offshore locations for extended periods of time.
    Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
